How Swaran Katal is Paid

Generally, Swaran does not charge fees for financial advice, as he receives commissions from lenders and insurance providers when loans or insurance policies are settled. Exceptions are outlined below:

• If no commission is received from the lender: Swaran may charge a one-off fee, which will be agreed upon in writing before the service is completed. This fee will depend on the time spent providing advice and may apply if the product is offered by a lender with whom we are not accredited or outside our usual arrangements.
• If commission must be repaid to the lender: Swaran may charge a fee of up to $2,500 plus GST, calculated at $250 plus GST per hour. This amount will not exceed the commission repaid to the lender. You will receive an invoice and will have 30 days to make payment.
